Favorite Thing: Shoes

July 28, 2006

ShoesI’m not really into shoes. Comfort, is my main focus. However, I love this new pair of shoes my mom bought me at Target for $5!! Can’t beat that. They’re comfortable flats that are so pretty, I had to share them as today’s “favorite thing.” This also segues nicely into next week’s series I’m calling, “Easy Summer Fashion.”

So what’s your favorite pair of shoes?

Is it my computer? I can see your legs but not your feet.

No shoes. I am a hillbillie at heart. Unfortunately, my husband would love to always have me in heels! AHH! What a combination, huh?! 🙂
Next to being bare foot, flip flops are my pick.

My husband would prefer the laid back fashion of flats, boots or flip flops. Believe it or not, he prefers me looking like a JCrew/Land’s End Mom rather than the Diva I try to be sometimes! I love my flip flops that are black with rhinestons on the thong part of it. They were $5.00! I loves me a bargain.

Oh friend, I am so following you over here to wordpress. I have been searching for a free blog that includes categories. I actually have an account with wordpress (had so much fun NOT messing with html), but how did you go about transferring all of your archives. Ugh. Is it a nightmare.

The most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn are made by Dansko. They are expensive, but I’ve found them on ebay for 1/3 the price.

While not a pink person, really, my fave shoes are pink slides with pink gingham insoles and a cute pink daisy on the toe strap.
I feel the wonder of being 5’4″ instead of 5’3″ when I’m wearing them, and they are very girlie and just plain fun, esp with matching toenail polish!

hmmm…this is a hard one. I love all kinds of shoes, gym shoes, sandals, wedges, slides, heels…right now I got a great pair of Chinease Laundry Sandals on clearance at Marshall Fields/Macys for $20…they are fun!
I love your Target shoes…almost got those but they did not have my size 😦

Of course I loved the shoes, could see your cute feet in them.
I love shoes, all kinds just hate spending the money for them, usually so expensive. Yours were a steal at $5.

I’m not sure I’m liking this new blog. You know we hate change, I really liked the other one, of course I’m judging on looks alone. If you stay with this it will probably come around for me. Mom
