Maple Tree Campgrounds

May 15, 2006

A few weekends ago Josh and I took off a Friday and went camping at one of our favorite spots, Maple Tree Campgrounds.

We set up camp on a beautiful spring day, the sun shining and warm but still chilly.

Josh got to do manly things like cut wood.

We ate delicious meals cooked over the open fire like sausage, apples, and onion for dinner, and hearty breakfasts of potatoes, eggs, and bacon with coffee. Hmmm.

We went biking on the C&O Canal trail and stopped for this photo.

Back home after the trip. Rested and feeling good after lots of exercise and fresh air. Look at that smile!

I think I can safely say that we will never experience this type of event as a couple. Jason’s idea of roughing it is a hotel with a jacuzzi tub.

Looks like you had a great time! Love the pics.
