Happy Birthday!

Today is rainy and gloomy, but a year ago it was warm and sunshine poured down from the sky as my contractions started, a sign of the two new lives soon to enter the world. Today, a year ago Duncan and Owen were born!
I want to take a moment and reflect on the things I [...]

Last Year . . .

at this time I looked like this:

Hard to believe it’s almost been 1 year!

The boys have a new ride! I did tons of research before settling on the Baby Jogger City Classic double stroller. So far we LOVE it. All of us. The boys were getting too big for their Snap ‘n Go double stroller and since we’ll soon be switching out the infant car seats, we wouldn’t [...]

World Baby Foods

Duncan and Owen just finished their last jar from World Baby Foods. They were a gift from my good friend Jessica. I love the concept: organic baby food based on multicultural cuisines. How cool is that! From Tokyo Tum Tum to Baby Dal, the boys loved it all. It makes a great baby gift!

Boxes are fun too! Josh took them on a little pre-bedtime ride one evening and they loved it.

The above picture’s a bit blurry, but I love [...]

I sing songs about poopy

Yep, I caught myself singing about poopy while changing one of the boys diapers the other day. I sing to them all the time. I just make up whatever comes to mind or that relates to what we’re doing. I’d say I sing to them as much as I talk to them. But sometimes I [...]

The Adventures of Duncan & Owen

Wednesday night Owen stood up for the first time by himself. Doesn’t he look so proud? We all hooted and hollered and clapped. He’s been pulling himself up to his knees for a couple of weeks now. Plus he’s army crawling like crazy. He’s discovered that he likes to chase the cat and try to [...]
