Check out this recipe from Real Simple. Made it tonight and it was delicious and easy. I omitted the arugula and made a nice tossed salad instead. Delicious! We all need simple and yummy meals.

Offline

My computer is going to be getting some TLC from Applecare. It’s getting mailed out tomorrow. What will I do!?! While Josh was gone away for several days at our churches men’s retreat, he took the computer and I was without it. What I missed most was being able to Google stuff. I realize how [...]

Winter Watching

There are few things I love more than curling up on a winter evening with a book and hot chocolate. Second to that is curling up to watch a good movie. I’ve seen some good epics lately that are almost as fun as reading a good book. Probably because two of the three were [...]

Duncan and Owen are both easily [...]

Inspired

I was inspired by Beth to rearrange my living room. I’d been wanting to for a while, but hadn’t had any good ideas. However, one day last week as I stood there brainstorming, I got a bright idea. I went crazy and moved everything around except for the T.V. I love the new set up. [...]

Last night we had some friends over for dinner, and I took the opportunity to make a cake I’ve been drooling over for quite a while. As you would know from reading this blog for any length of time, chocolate and coffee are two of my passions, and together they make a delicious combo. So [...]

What is passion? “We associate at least four things with the word passion: sexual desire, zeal for a task, an oratorio by J. S. Back, and the sufferings of Jesus Christ,” writes John Piper. “The word comes from a Latin word meaning suffering. That is the way I am using it here–the sufferings and death [...]
